Australia’s first fully subsidised and accredited training program dedicated to Business Continuity & Emergency Response Planning is being rolled out to residents across NSW.

The NSW Government in partnership with Australia (NSW) Astute Training have developed the Business Continuity and Emergency Response Training Course an amazing and unique offering.

Flood, fire, drought and the current COVID pandemic have forced thousands of businesses and community organisations to close their doors.

In many cases, these organisations have not had a Business Continuity, Interruption or Emergency Response Plan in place. Compiling such a plan can seem complex and expensive, and understanding exactly what is best practice is a challenge.

This online training program is designed for business operators, the hospitality industry and community based organisations.

The eight week online and fully subsidised program is aimed at individuals and teams whose duty, responsibility or role is to develop and execute these critical plans.

The course is accredited and will be run by some of Australia’s leading experts who subscribe to a best practice approach.

Courses are being held in the Hunter Region will commence on 11 October to 30 November with Mondays and Wednesdays for business and hospitality, and Tuesdays and Thursdays for community groups.

Two, 2-hour sessions will be offered to hunter residents from 10am to 12pm or 2pm to 4pm.

If you have any questions or require more information about the course, go to Study Astute Training.
