Cessnock City Council, in partnership with AusIndustry bring to you, the Cessnock Innovation Bootcamp as part of the Hunter Innovation Festival.

The festival will run across the Hunter Valley from Monday 3 May 2021 and will feature a range of events from workshops, interactive sessions, performances, installations, speaker events and more.

The Cessnock Innovation Bootcamp will focus on assisting established businesses looking to scale and innovate sustainably.

In this session, industry experts will provide tools and practices that will inspire business owners to look beyond the obvious.

This will include assistance to identify and validate the right problem to solve, along with generating ideas that will provide a solution to these problems and stretching beyond a new product or service.

Are you ready to build gains and lift your game?

By attending this workshop session, participants will:

  • Take time out to gauge where they really are, and also what they are capable of, with the right support and tools.
  • Apply fast thinking to unpack the innovation potential across three key areas of their business: back-of-house configuration, core offering, front-of-house experience.
  • Have confidence that through systemisation of innovation, and thinking about more than just product, they really can make an impact in their business and industry.
  • Meet and mingle with like-minded people who can help support and drive their innovation and growth aspirations.

The Cessnock Innovation Bootcamp is being held on Thursday 6 May from 8:30am to 3:30pm at the Cessnock Leagues Club, 1 Darwin Street, Cessnock.  Register here:

This is a free workshop hosted by the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources Entrepreneurs’ Programme and Cessnock City Council.
