Talking with Marc about the changing needs for business marketing and branding, Marc says, “Almost every business needs to be on Google today if they want to be found by their clients and all too often business miss the white elephant in the room – their Google My Business (places) page. I specialise in helping people show their business to the world on the platform that comes before their website. In some cases, it can be said that a properly setup Google My Business page with the right photos and virtual tour can outperform the results that website can do”.

“We’re now at a time when getting the right customers through online tools is getting far better and more reliable. Google changed is search algorithm not that long ago to use what they call ‘semantic search’ and that means that the old sneaky strategies don’t work, and that’s good. So I like to coin it as ‘the good old days are back again’. Have a great product and or service, show it off well, honestly and authentically and you will have a far better chance of attracting more of your perfect clients to your business. With Google, it comes down to using their own tools. Don’t overlook what Google asks of you. Ask yourself, “what do you want people to see?”
