The Estate lies just 10 kilometres to the west of Jerrys Plains and 20km east of the pretty little hub of Denman and is gateway to the rich Upper Hunter Valley home of wines, equine and mines.

A distinct respect for the property’s long history and its surrounds was maintained during the Hollydene development with the use of timbers from the original Bowman’s Crossing Bridge and turpentine timber from the original wharf at Goat Island, Sydney.

The timbers are a feature in the walls and ceilings of the restaurant and cellar door as well as the outdoor decking and alfresco area. With Paddock to Plate being at the heart of what we do, our philosophy is a simple one founded on showcasing and supporting local.

Our restaurant offers a delicious selection of fresh, seasonal and regional produce, as well as a healthy children’s menu.
