Radiant Makeup & Beauty opened in Cessnock early in 2017.
Business owner Emily Birdsey started her first salon, first salon Radiant Makeup & Beauty, in Cardiff where she specialised in makeup, brows & lashes, before moving her salon to her home town.
Emily has worked as a freelance makeup artist since 2009, working on weddings & special occasions. Emily worked for the prestigious cosmetic company ‘MAC Cosmetics’ where she gained substantial knowledge and skills.
Radiant Makeup & Beauty is staffed by Emily and Na’arah. Emily specialised as a beauty therapist and makeup artist, while Na’arah takes care of reception and will soon become a waxing specialist.
“I do a lot of mobile makeup artistry for weddings in the Hunter Valley & Newcastle region” says Emily.
“I like going to the bride on their wedding day to make their day a calm and exciting experience.”
Radiant Makeup & Beauty offers: Eyebrow waxing & shaping, Eyebrow tinting, Eyelash tinting & perming, Eyelash extensions, Relaxation massages, Relaxation NAT Skincare facials, Spray tanning, Face & Body waxing, and Makeup application.
If you are keen to learn how to professionally apply your own makeup, Radiant Makeup & Beauty also provides ‘makeup lessons’.
Radiant Makeup & Beauty sell skincare products including: Lipsense lip colours, Soy candles, Handmade children’s bows & clips, and Poni cosmetic brow products.

“I specialize in makeup artistry with training from a highly recognize makeup artistry school ACMUSE and I have then gained much knowledge with previously working with MAC Cosmetics.”
“I specialize in eyebrows and eyelashes and keep on trend with all things brows and lashes! We do everything from eyelash extensions to eyelash lifting and tinting. I spend a lot of time and effort perfecting peoples eyebrows and getting them their desired look.”
