The Hunter Valley Wine and Tourism Alliance, including Cessnock City Council, Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association (HVWTA) and Singleton Council, has committed to run the ‘Here’s to the Good Life’ cooperative marketing campaign in partnership with Destination NSW (DNSW) for the next 2 years.
We are now working towards the launch of the 2nd phase of the campaign and call on all businesses that are directly or indirectly impacted by tourism to pledge.
We are required to raise a minimum of $100k to commit to the DNSW Cooperative Marketing Fund program, which will be matched $1 for $1 by DNSW. We have already developed the creative content in 2018, so all the funds raised and matched will be spent on media buy-in and a more tactical campaign with a strong call to action to prompt visitors to purchase bookable experiences. Businesses who contribute to the campaign will be supported by the HVWTA and DNSW to develop bookable experiences and packages.

2018 Campaign Results
The ‘Here’s to the Good Life‘ campaign leveraged activity that was estimated to be worth $2m, reached an astounding 29 million people and had an 11% increase in bookings compared to the same period in the previous year. Please read the final report from DNSW HERE.
The HVWTA also conducted a quick survey to see how your businesses performed 5 months after the completion of the campaign. The survey was essential to help support and advocate for future funding contributions towards phase 2. Please review the survey results HERE.
