What To Expect
To help you get the most out of your meeting, here are some things to know before you go:
Be Prepared: to talk about your business. You don’t need a speech, just to be able to tell others what you do. Members are interested in getting to know how connections with visitors can be mutually beneficial.
Mingle: The time before the meeting proper starts is where you meet the members and other visitors. People are interested in what you do; they also want to let you know about their business. Visitor hosts and our regular members will help you meet everyone. Make the most of this time.
Meetings: Use this time to experience the atmosphere of the group and how the meeting runs. Meetings are high energy and run according to a structured agenda. You will find out a little bit about all the members of the group during this time. We also like to have some fun, so don’t expect it to all be serious. The meetings last around 90 minutes with time for additional networking after each meeting.
We also have a feature presentation each week from one of the members.
You’re Special: You will be told about how to join our group when you visit. But there is no pressure. We simply love having visitors. Only one person from each professional specialty is allowed to join a our group. if you decide to apply for membership and you are successful, you will be the sole representative of your field and can develop relationships with others in the chapter as their go-to person for your services.
