Who Is This Course For?
Do you own or work for a small business? This course is fully subsidised for eligible students!
Xero for Business will assist small business owners and employees in using the cloud based Xero accounting software to manage and monitor their finances in real time. You will learn how to:
•Customise invoice and email settings
•Manage contacts
•Set up Products and Services
•Utilise the Xero File Storage system
•Process and manage transactions such as sales invoices, bills and expense receipts and money transfers
•Produce financial reports so that you can make informed decisions about your business growth including GST reporting.
•Reconcile your bank accounts and make sure that they balance with your bank statement, ensuring your cash flow is on track
Xero For Business will lead you through the basic functions of Xero helping you maximise revenue, profits and cash flow.

Course Dates: The course runs over two days, the 19th and 20th of February, 2020. Class starts at 9:30am and concludes at 4:30pm.

Funding Eligibility
This course is being offered under the Tech Savvy Small Business Program. This funding has been designed for small business owners and employees of small businesses who want to better understand how to use the latest technology to improve their business operations.
To be eligible for subsided training under this Program you must: be:
•Be an owner or employee of a small business with less than 20 employees, or
•turn over less than $2 million annually.
Students must be able to provide a valid ABN for their own business or the business they are employed by, have successfully completed year 10 (or equivalent), turned 16 or have relevant experience and/or qualifications that indicate likely success in completing the course.
This funding is subsidised by the NSW State Government.
What to Bring To Class
Please bring your own laptop. A limited number of loan laptops will be available. If you require one of these please call the College and let us know when you enrol. Wireless internet access will be available.
Bring a USB if you would like a copy your course files and pen and notepad if you would like to take notes.
All other course resources will be provided for you.
A light lunch and morning tea will be supplied. If you have any special dietary requirements please contact the College prior to the course on 4348 4300.
