Virtual Town Meeting: Hunter Valley Agribusiness Cluster Action Plan
October 21, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Cessnock City Council and Advance Cessnock City invite you to contribute to the food and agriculture future for the Hunter Valley.
About this Event:
Q. Who should attend this virtual, online Town Hall meeting?
A. Anyone within the Cessnock local government area (LGA) and surrounds that’s passionate about the future of the Hunter region, and/or who has ideas about how to improve it, in relation to agriculture, food production, food trails, farmers markets and agri-tourism.
Background:
The Hunter Valley Agricultural Cluster Action Plan project is designed to build capability and identify opportunities for growth within the food and agriculture sector across the Hunter Valley. It is an initiative of the Cessnock City Council with application and benefit across the wider Hunter Valley region.
The 90 minute session will cover everything from a general introduction to the project, the objectives and the opportunity for you to take action, join the discussion and learn more about the Ag Cluster Plan.
Your input and feedback is important in shaping the future of industry, specifically food and agriculture, in the Hunter Valley.
If you’d like to be involved and have your voice heard, please register.
In addition to attending the Town Hall meeting, you are also encouraged to complete a complementary survey, found at:
and to share the link through your local and regional networks, to help capture everything the Hunter region has to offer, now and into the future.
These two aspects will help to gather insights to shape a strong story to Cessnock City Council on opportunities around agriculture, food, local produce, agri-tourism and related topics in and around the Hunter Valley.
Thanks in advance for your input and garnering that of others in your region.
