The NSW Government has launched the new Going Global Program, which has been designed specifically to help exporters to expand internationally.

If you are a small to medium sized business, are export capable or ready and looking to start exporting or diversifying into new export markets you may be eligible to apply for this program.

Businesses will be equipped with the skills, knowledge and connections needed to achieve outcomes in international markets.

The program will focus on high growth export markets and sectors that play to NSW’s natural strength.

Businesses have the opportunity to select from 15 tailored programs covering nine markets including Food and Beverage, Health and Medtech, Cybersecurity and Digital Technologies, and Advanced Manufacturing.

This program aims to help NSW businesses gain a deep understanding of specific international markets, provide opportunities and introductions to customers and other in-country contacts.

In the last 12 months, businesses across the state have been hit hard by the challenges of bushfires, floods, persistent drought and now the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Exports accounted for approximately 16% of the State economy before COVID-19 therefore it’s crucial to preserve existing relationships and build a solid platform for new growth and opportunities.
