Men’s Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Small Grants Program

Grants of up to $50,000 per project are available to support community activities, programs, and events focused on improving men’s mental health and preventing suicide.

Overview

This program aims to:

  • Support community-led projects that promote mental health, resilience, and well-being among men.
  • Deliver tangible mental health and well-being benefits to men across the state.
  • Combat loneliness and social isolation among men through meaningful initiatives.
  • Foster mental health, resilience, and well-being in specific groups such as:
    • Aboriginal men
    • Boys and young adult men
    • Older men
    • Men living with disabilities
    • Men in rural and remote areas
    • LGBTQ+ men
  • Strengthen connections between community mental health organisations to establish ongoing referral and support pathways.
  • Enhance the cultural competency and safety of mental health organisations, ensuring they are accessible and responsive to diverse groups of men.
