Strong and Resilient Communities

Purpose:
SARC IC grants aim to enhance the social and economic participation of vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals.

Overview:
These grants target working-age individuals (15-64) in areas of high socio-economic disadvantage nationwide.

Objectives:

  1. Young People (12-18): Reconnect disengaged or at-risk youth with community, education, training, or employment.
  2. People with Disability: Foster independence and engagement in the community, economy, and society.
  3. Women at Risk: Support women facing isolation or discrimination to increase participation and self-agency.
  4. Unemployed Individuals: Help unemployed individuals build capacity for employment, training, or engagement in their community.
