Supporting Women in Business Grants

The Supporting Women In Business (SWIB) Grants fund tailored projects that help NSW women start or grow small and micro businesses by providing essential support, training, mentoring, and resources. The program aims to break down barriers, build confidence, and enhance business skills.

Funded projects will offer targeted support, including networking opportunities, financial access assistance, and business development, catering to the unique needs of specific communities.

Eligible projects must focus on one of the following groups:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women
  • Carers
  • Young women with out-of-home care experience
  • LGBTIQA+ women
  • Older women
  • Women facing socioeconomic disadvantage, homelessness, or domestic, family, or sexual violence
  • Women from CALD backgrounds
  • Women in regional, rural, and remote areas
  • Women with disabilities or mental illness
  • Women involved in the criminal justice system
  • Women veterans and partners of veterans
  • Young women (17-24 years)
