The Watagan Mountains Endurance Ride Committee are excited to welcome back the Watagan Mountains Endurance Ride to the Hunter Valley Region.

150 plus endurance enthusiast are expected to return with their noble steads to descend on Quorrobolong on the weekend of 17 and 18 April 2021.

The endurance ride has a long history within the Hunter Valley, with the inaugural event being first held in 1980.

Throughout the life of the event, the Watagan ride has consistently been a favourite on the NSW Endurance Riding calendar, and one of the most popular and well attended riding events in the state.

The committee are looking to reinvigorate the famed Watagan Endurance Ride in 2021 and therefore are seeking additional sponsors to provide prizes or financial support for the much-anticipated return of the endurance Ride.

“This is a great opportunity to promote your business to local and regional travellers.” Watagan Club President Cody Holloway.

“Support benefits include promotion of your business on social media platforms, promotional opportunity in the ride day booklet and display of your products and or signage at the two-day event,” he added.

“Like every other sport in 2020, endurance riding events were drastically impacted by the pandemic, however that hast stopped us from aspiring to make 2021 a much better year with events for experienced endurance rdiers, novies and newcomers alike.” Cody explained.

Ride distances will cater to all abilities with 4km, 13km, 20km and 40km events on offer each day.
