The Australian Government is hosting a Virtual Jobs Fair to help businesses across the Hunter region find the staff they need.
Jobs Fairs bring together job seekers, employers, employment service providers and labour hire firms in the region and provides people with the chance to explore current employment opportunities within the local community.
As COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease, more businesses are beginning to reopen and are now looking for staff.
If you’re a business owner and have vacancies to fill, why not consider exhibiting at the Virtual Jobs Fair.
Exhibiting is free, providing you with the opportunity to showcase your job opportunities and connect with enthusiastic job seekers with a variety of skills.
Employers will have the opportunity to virtually talk with potential employees to discover if they might be a good fit for their business.
Businesses that attend the Virtual Jobs Fair have vacancies they are looking to fill and job seekers are encouraged to use this opportunity to chat with exhibitors to learn about jobs and career options across the Hunter.
Not only are there jobs on offer, but strategies to improve your job search including information sessions on writing résumés, interview skills and how to find suitable jobs.
Job seekers will also have the opportunity to speak to local employment support services who can help you gain skills to increase your ability to find employment more quickly.

The Hunter Virtual Jobs Fair is being held online on Thursday 24 September 2020 between 9.30 am and 1.30pm.
