The digital age is changing the way businesses communicate with their consumers.

To coincide with the evolving digital world, a series of digitally focused workshops will be delivered to the community in the upcoming year.

Cessnock City Council has partnered with Hunter Region Business Hub and Australian Small Business Advisory Service’s Digital Solutions Program under the Advance Cessnock City banner to bring this opportunity to our businesses.

The workshops are designed to target small businesses who create and coordinate their digital marketing in house.

Leading industry experts will share a wealth of knowledge and experience and provide hands on support for attendees over the duration of the workshops.

There will be an emphasis on new technological innovations, how to utilise the tools and implement them in day to day business.

This is the perfect opportunity for small businesses to take advantage and come along to one or all of the workshops to increase knowledge base and enhance the customer’s experience by speaking their language.

Learn How to Stand out From the Crowd Online is the first workshop off the rank presented by Kimberlie Claire-Campbell, Digital Business Advisor from the Hunter Region Business Hub and will be held on Wednesday 18 March from 10am to 12 noon at Cessnock Leagues Club.

General admission to the workshop costs $21.97 (including GST).

Attendees will explore the many different types of customers and unlock the most effective way to interact with them at all stages of the buying cycle.

In this session you will:

  • Discover 7 types of content styles that keep people’s attention
  • Develop an understanding of the know, like, trust and buy cycle
  • Build customer loyalty through your content
  • Identify enticing options and understand the importance of your call to action
