How did businesses get included on this map?
i. If you are a financial Fee for Service member at the Hunter Valley Visitor Information Centre – there was NO cost for you to appear on the Official Map that will be handed out to our visitors.
ii. If the business is not a current Fee for Service member but is a tourism business wanting to be included on the Official Map, then they only need to pay $77 (incl. GST) for each business listing.
iii. Businesses are encouraged to submit separate applications for each part of their business they would like to appear on the map face e.g. Art Galleries, Restaurants, Museums must have separate lines on the map to feature in their respective categories.
iv. Additional advertising is fully sold out in 2019.
Cessnock City Council will issue the draft map on a an exhibition period until 28 January 2019 with the link emailed to tourism businesses.
Businesses are invited to submit changes to their own listings on the map face or grid reference, alert of errors, or book additional business listings as required.
This initiative is funded by Cessnock City Council, and costs recovered through advertising and Fee for Service.
