Somewhere Unique

'}}

Welcome to Somewhere Unique, a romantic retreat for couples in the heart of the Hunter Valley. Our private 20-acre bushland property in Wollombi Valley is the perfect escape, whether it’s a weekend getaway or a midweek break. We’ve crafted every detail of our eco-friendly, couples-only retreat to provide both luxury and peace. From the king-size bed and two-person bath to the cozy gas log fireplace, every feature is designed with your comfort in mind.

Our two retreats, both architect-designed, blend modern style with natural surroundings. You’ll enjoy views from every room, immersing yourself in nature without sacrificing comfort. Located just minutes from historic Wollombi village, Somewhere Unique feels secluded, yet we’re only two hours from Sydney and an hour from Newcastle or the Central Coast.

Our commitment to eco-tourism runs deep. We were the first accommodation in Hunter Valley Wine Country to earn EcoTourism certification through Ecotourism Australia. Each year, we measure and offset our carbon footprint, accounting for LPG, electricity, vehicle use, and waste disposal. We actively work to reduce our environmental impact, while ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional stay.

At Somewhere Unique, we believe in preserving this beautiful region for future generations. We invite you to experience our eco-friendly luxury and reconnect with nature, knowing you’re part of a sustainable future.
