McCaffreys Estate

'}}

Welcome to McCaffrey’s Estate! Our family-owned vineyard and winery sits along scenic Hermitage Road in the heart of the Hunter Valley. We’re open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, ready to share a true taste of our region.

Come relax with a seated wine tasting in our cosy cellar door. Choose a spot inside or sit outside with views over the vines. As you sip our single-vineyard wines, we’ll share stories of life on the estate. It’s an experience you’ll remember. Plus, if you’re driving an electric vehicle, you can charge up while you unwind with a glass of wine.

Looking to stay a little longer? Our self-contained cottages offer the perfect retreat. Each cottage is your private escape, complete with a barbecue, outdoor entertaining area, and a firepit overlooking the vineyard. In summer, you can cool off by our saltwater pool. In winter, curl up by the fire with a glass of wine. No matter the season, McCaffrey’s Estate has something special for you.

We’re proud of our recent awards. We won the Hospitality & Tourism Award from the Hunter Region Business Excellence Awards in 2023 and 2024. We also received a Highly Commended for Business of the Year. Our property has earned Booking.com’s Traveller Review Award for nearly a decade, along with TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award and Airbnb Superhost status.

So, visit us for a wine tasting, try a wine and cheese pairing, or get hands-on in our “Winemaker for the Day” experience. At McCaffrey’s Estate, we bring together great wine, warm hospitality, and a touch of Hunter Valley charm.
