In 2020, the Cessnock Business Chamber created a Commercial Premises Matrix. 
This matrix is monitored and updated monthly to show how many shop and office vacancies are currently within the Cessnock CBD area (extending to Bellbird though to East Cessnock).

There are over 300 business premises located in the Cessnock Business Precincts including Vincent Street, Cumberland Street, Hall Street, Edward Street, Cooper Street, Wollombi Road, Maitland Road, Lederer Group, Market Place, Central Cessnock and the Coles Complex.

The Cessnock Business Chamber created the Commercial Property Matrix to have an audit of the number of vacant shops and office space within the Cessnock area in particular the Business Precinct.

You will see below the currant vacancy rate verses the occupancy rate. We have covered 3 major areas, Vincent Street, CBD Precinct and an overall area of Cessnock.
