General Jeffery Soil Health Award

The 2025 General Jeffery Soil Health Award celebrates individuals and groups dedicated to improving soil health and inspiring others. Open to landcare groups, farmers, educators, and land managers, nominees must demonstrate leadership in sustainable land management and soil health improvement by:
  • Innovating and guiding sustainable agriculture practices
  • Applying excellent on-ground soil management techniques
  • Educating and raising awareness of soil health’s importance
  • Promoting action and adoption of sustainable practices
  • Sharing knowledge and advocating for soil health
  • Mentoring and inspiring best practices in soil management

The winner receives $20,000 (ex GST) for a soil project and a travel package to the 2025 National Landcare Awards gala dinner on 23 September at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
