The Maitri (“friendship” in Sanskrit) Grant Program has been developed to deliver the Maitri Grants and Maitri Cultural Partnerships programs aligned to the Centre for Australia-India Relations’ strategic objectives.
The Program will deliver up to $5 million in funding to support grants that enhance economic, cultural and policy projects that benefit the Australia-India cultural and business relationship.
Eligible grant activities may include:
- major events, residencies, exhibitions, and performances
- workshops, round tables, focus groups, forums, and conferences
- exchanges and secondments of personnel between Australia and India
- communications activities
- market research, including research commercialisation, and
- community engagement.
