2024 Active and Creative Kids
New $50 Active and Creative Kids vouchers, launching February 2024.
The NSW Government is helping low and middle-income families with cost-of-living pressures with the new Active and Creative Kids voucher program.
There are two new, combined $50 vouchers that eligible parents, guardians and carers of school-aged children will be able to use per year over the next three years.
Organisations can now apply to become an Active and Creative Kids provider through:
- Service NSW website
- Service NSW Business Bureau app

Key changes:
The new Active and Creative Kids voucher program will:
• only be available to families receiving Tax Benefit A and/or B
• be two $50 vouchers issued at the start of terms 1 and 3
• cover both Active and Creative eligible activities
• include vouchers with scannable QR codes for easy redemption
• will require the organisationto have a valid ABN
• allow the combining of two valid vouchers
• it is a permanent program
• have increased self-management of program through Service NSW Business Profile.
To register as a provider:
To register as a provider, you must:
- operate in NSW
- offer an eligible activity
- be appropriately skilled and hold the right type of experience, accreditation and qualifications for all eligible activities provided
- require all staff, contractors and/or volunteers involved in the program have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- have completed the Office of the Children’s Guardian’s Child Safe e-Learning Module and be able to demonstrate a commitment to the Child Safe Standards
- hold current Certificates of Currency for professional indemnity and public liability insurance policies appropriate to the type and level of eligible activities being delivered
- comply with the Active and Creative Kids Voucher program guidelines and terms and conditions.
- have a valid and active Australian Business Number (ABN)
o Note: If you do not have an ABN:
- if you're part of a parent organisation, check if they have applied to register and if they can list your location under their registration
- call 13 77 88 to speak with a Service NSW Business Concierge about taking part in the program.
