Cyber Security Awareness
This grant will support advocacy, charity, not-for-profit and community groups to develop and deliver tailored cyber security literacy programs, based on materials developed under the Act Now, Stay Secure campaign, to vulnerable groups.
Local Heritage Fund
Owners or managers of heritage listed properties and properties in a heritage conservation area may be eligible for up to $2,000 financial assistance from Council’s Local Heritage Fund.

The NSW Government has announced the launch of the Engine and Emerging Industries Loan Pilot Program, funded as part of the Regional Development Roadmap to support sustainable and strategic investment in regional communities.
The pilot program is designed to assist regionally based businesses in food and beverage manufacturing industries to adopt advanced manufacturing capabilities.
Low interest loans of between $100,000 and $1 million are now available to eligible regional enterprises to fund activities that support investment in new technologies and equipment that will increase efficiency and productivity.
Which businesses are eligible?
The loan is available to eligible sole traders, partnerships, trusts and private companies who operate in the food product manufacturing or beverage manufacturing industries in regional NSW.
To be eligible, enterprises must be able to demonstrate long-term viability and a capacity to repay the loan.
They must have less than 200 employees, be classified under one of the eligible ANZSIC codes, have a suitable Business and Project Delivery plan and should not have had turnover greater than $250 million in the last 3 years.

What can the loan be used for?
Loans can be used to fund activities that support the enterprise to implement its Business and Project Delivery Plan and invest in new technologies and equipment that will increase efficiency and productivity.
Applicants can apply for funding for activities that commenced on or after 1 April 2024.

What are the loan terms?
Engine and Emerging Industries Loans are between $100,000 and $1 million.
A concessional interest rate of 2.5% is applied and fixed for the life of the loan (up to seven years).
Loans repayments are interest only for the first two years, followed by principal and interest repayments for up to five years, depending on the agreed loan term.

How to apply?
Applications for the Engine and Emerging Industries Loan Pilot Program can be made online via the NSW Rural Assistance Authority website: www.raa.nsw.gov.au/loans/eei
Program funding is limited and therefore early applications are strongly encouraged.
The program will help to expand the national cyber security awareness campaign to uplift cyber security outreach and literacy among the Australian community. The grants will support advocacy, charity, not-for-profit and community groups to develop and deliver tailored cyber security literacy programs, based on materials developed under the Act Now, Stay Secure campaign, to vulnerable groups.
The objectives of the grant opportunity are:
- build and uplift the nationwide baseline cyber security capability amongst the Australian community as well as infrastructure, including small business and local governments
- reduce the economic and social impact of cybercrime.
The intended outcomes of the grant opportunity are:
- overall increase in the public’s awareness of cyber security risks
- increase the outreach of the Act Now, Stay Secure campaign through delivering tailored education materials to vulnerable community groups
- protective measures implemented.

- Company
- Cooperative
- Incorporated Association
- Indigenous Corporation
- Local Government Entity
- Partnership
- Sole Trader
- Statutory Entity.

An EV charger can get your business on the map. Literally.
More and more drivers are switching to electric vehicles (EVs) and they’re planning their trips around EV charging locations.
We’re investing $20 million to assist eligible regional NSW businesses and councils by co-funding the purchase and installation of EV chargers at your site. This funding is available through our Drive electric NSW EV destination charging grant.
Join the growing number of businesses that are already plugged in
Businesses across regional NSW have already taken advantage of the grant. With up to 75% of their costs covered, they now have chargers in the ground and the stories to show for it.
A payroll tax rebate is available for employers in NSW who employ apprentices and new entrant trainees.
To be eligible you must be employing an apprentice or new entrant trainee as defined in the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Act 2001.
The rebate only applies to a trainee who has been continuously employed by the employer for no more than 3 months full-time or 12 months casual or part-time immediately prior to commencing employment as a trainee.
Google Ad Grants shows your message to people searching for nonprofits like yours.
Each qualifying nonprofit has access to up to AU$13,000 per month in search ads shown on Google.com. Additional Google Ads may be purchased in a separate account.
You’ll receive AU$13,000 of in-kind advertising from Google each month to create text-based ads, and get access to tools to help you build effective campaigns that can display on Google Search when people look for information related to your not-for-profit.
The NSW JobCover Placement Program incentivises employers to employ a worker who has a work related injury and is unable to return to work with their pre-injury employer.
The JobCover placement program provides the new employer with incentive payments of up to $27,400 for up to 12 months among other benefits and incentives.
The Start-up Finance Package provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander start-ups with access to loans to help new businesses get off the ground.
The start-up finance package is up to $100,000 and includes:
- up to 30% of a new business loan as a grant to purchase assets for the business which does not need to be repaid
- flexible loan repayment options
- no application or line service fees
- loan term of 7 years
- minimum security requirements.
To be eligible, you must:
- be at least 18 and of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
- own at least 50% of the business, or have at least 50% of the business owned by people of indigenous descent
- have less than $400,000 in actual annual turnover
- have been trading for less than 2 years
- have a commercially viable business model.
The NSW Government has announced the $360 million Net Zero Industry Plan to partner with the manufacturing and mining sectors to reduce emissions and boost energy resilience.
If you are a small business owner in NSW, this $1,000 rebate will help you purchase safety items and improve work health and safety for you and your workers.
Social Enterprise Development Initiative (SEDI) Grants help social enterprises, including trading Indigenous owned or controlled organisations with a defined social benefit, grow their business, scale their impact and further their missions of creating positive social change.
The grants, valued at up to $120,000 each, are targeted towards supporting social enterprises to be more effective and efficient in demonstrating and increasing social impact for the people and communities they exist to support.
The initiative supports social enterprises across all states and territories that are delivering services for Australians experiencing disadvantage, in a range of social outcome areas, including: communities, employment, education and First Nations Australians. Eligibility
Eligible SEDI Grant applicants:
- Are a social enterprise (see definition below) or a trading Indigenous owned or controlled organisation with a defined social benefit
- Have an impact in one or more of the approved Department of Social Services outcome areas
- Currently provide benefit to those experiencing entrenched disadvantage in Australia
- Are an Australian organisation
- Have beneficiaries who primarily reside in Australia
- Have a turnover of at least $50,000 per year
- May be early stage but have progressed beyond the start-up phase
- Are seeking to scale impact (now or in the future) in one or more of the approved outcome areas to address entrenched disadvantage in Australia.
A social enterprise is a business that puts people and planet first. It trades like any other business, but exists specifically to make the world a better place. A social enterprise seeks to solve a social or environmental problem. It can be a for-profit or non-profit organisation, or a charity that trades.
The Workplace Legal Advice Program provides employers with free, independent legal advice to help them deal with workplace issues.
Free, independent legal advice is available to employers on issues like:
- dismissal
- bullying at work
- general protections
- sexual harassment at work.
To be eligible, employers must:
- not have a lawyer or paid agent
- have less than 15 employees
- not have in-house legal, workplace relations or human resources staff
- not be a member of an employer association
- have an enquiry or issue about dismissal, general protections, bullying or sexual harassment at work.
