Challenge Community Services has provided innovative and people-focused services to the community for over 60 years.
When a small group of concerned parents met in Tamworth Town Hall back in 1958 and formed the Tamworth and District Handicapped Children’s Association and school, the idea of becoming one of the largest community support services operating in New South Wales was probably beyond their wildest dreams.
With over 1000 employees, Challenge Community Services deliver the highest quality of disability Services at Cessnock, as well as Foster Care, Business Services and Therapeutic Services across the state.
What sets them apart from their competition is their compassionate nature and care about enriching every interaction, no matter how big or small, to make a positive difference in the lives of all members of our community.
The staff employed at the Cessnock centre take pride in helping people with a disability as they feel a sense of reward and by helping this community; we help the wider community as well.
