It is a requirement to have a Director Identification Number (ID) if you are a director of one of the following:

• a company
• registered Australian body
• registered foreign company
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporation

The Director ID is a unique identifier which once applied for once, will be kept forever. All existing directors must apply for a Director ID by Wednesday 30 November, 2022.
