Join to hear all about SafeWork initiatives and targets for 2023, specifically targeting working at heights and silica.
This event is an opportunity for you to connect with SafeWork NSW on initiatives and regulation changes that will affect the construction industry.
From January 1 2024, the NSW Government will require PCBUs to provide audiometric testing to workers who are frequently required to use personal protective equipment (hearing protection) at work to prevent hearing loss.
One of the focus areas of NSW Fair Trading in 2023 is to ensure that regulation is efficient and fair for the people of New South Wales, including in the building and construction area.
This means reducing consumer risks associated with the building industry as well as having efficient internal complaints processes.
The Customer Experience and Program Delivery team of NSW Fair Trading is interested in understanding the experience of people involved in home building related complaints to NSW Fair Trading, and hear how it could be improved.
