Hunter Region Business Hub is one of over 100 BEC’s that operate nationally to provide new and existing micro, small and medium business clients with practical assistance in business planning, advice on marketing, budgeting and cash flow.
The assistance offered by the Hunter Region Business Hub is independent and confidential. Fees are cost-effective and affordable. The Hub can assist in the areas of the establishment of new small business enterprises and existing small to medium enterprises who are experiencing issues, want to grow , or just want to be better.
Hunter Region Business Hub is community based, and is a result of an initiative from local companies, Cessnock City Council and Maitland City Council working in a partnership to assist in local economic development.
Hunter Region Business Hub also facilitates networking events and opportunities to encourage the growth and support of the business community in the Maitland, Cessnock, Dungog , Singleton, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter local government areas.
The Hub contains a Business Hub that houses up to 28 units either in office, commercial or light industrial premises. Businesses enjoy economical, easy-leasing arrangements with business mentoring services “on tap”.
Business advisory services cover the establishment of new small business enterprises and existing small to medium enterprises who are experiencing issues, want to grow, or just want to be better. Businesses can also take advantage of numerous business workshops and information seminars to assist in the development of their business.
Advice is provided to new and existing micro, small and medium business clients. This includes practical assistance in business planning, advice on marketing, budgeting and cash flow.
The Hub provides access to a digital solutions program. You will have access to one on one support with an advisor. This will aid in assessing your current digital needs and planning out an action plan. Three hours of one on one advice and four hours of webinars is also included.
Meeting the below criteria qualifies you for free advice through the digital Solutions Program:
- your business has an active ABN
- your business has less than 20 full-time employees
- your business is located within NSW or the ACT
