Applications are now open for travel agents and tour arrangement service providers impacted by COVID-19 to apply for a one-off payment.

The COVID-19 Consumer Travel Support Program provides a one-off grant to help travel agents and tour arrangement service providers stay viable.

The funding is being offered to assist businesses in the travel sector to continue to trade and meet their legal obligations to keep paying refunds and credits to Australian consumers who are unable to travel as a result of COVID-19.

According to reports, it’s estimated that travel agents have experienced a 90 per cent drop in revenue due to COVID-19.

As businesses operate in exceptional circumstances and continue to hold travel credit for consumers, this payment will ensure the sector’s sustainability for Australian travellers.

Who is eligible?

You may be eligible if your business had an annual GST turnover of $50,000 to $20 million in the 2019 calendar year.  Check if you are eligible here.

How much are you entitled too?

A one-off grant of $1,500 to $100,000 depending on your business’ annual GST turnover in the 2019 calendar year.  Check what you may be entitled to here.

How to claim
