This great study opportunity - a viticulture tour of New Zealand and visit to the Bragato Research Institute - is being led by the NSW Department of Primary Industries and NSW Wine. Up to 10 places are available to participate.

As part of the tour you will visit New Zealand's Bragato Research Institute in Marlborough (https://bri.co.nz/) where NZ develops world-leading innovations for its wine industry from blue sky research through to the practical application of science in our vineyards, wineries and supply chain.

The visit will also include several stops at wine businesses in Christchurch and Marlborough to meet with leading viticulturists and researchers, better understand the use of automation, people management and robotics in the vineyard and meet with leading New Zealand organic and sustainable growers.

The study tour is five days, beginning in Christchurch on 11 December 2023 and finishing back in Christchurch on 15 December 2023.

Accommodation, transport and some meals are covered as part of the visit. You will be required to book and pay for your own flights to New Zealand.
