We know some essential businesses are experiencing difficulty in sourcing supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE).

With the current COVID-19 situation, Cessnock City Council is working with the Department of Regional NSW,  hoping to connect essential businesses, who might be having issues in sourcing PPE, with known NSW suppliers.

PPE might comprise products you would need to protect your workers and your clients including:

  • hand sanitiser
  • handwash soap
  • gloves
  • cleaning products
  • protective clothing
  • swabs
  • masks or eyewear
  • paper products
  • packaging or anything else

It is important the most essential services such as medical centres, pharmacies, schools, child care, aged care or post offices (etc.) can access and still source reliable supplies of PPE.

The Department of Regional NSW has been supporting supply chain efforts, in order to ramp up production of essential supplies, or assist  businesses to adapt in order to produce PPE.
