Hunter Business Forum

Cessnock City Council, in partnership with the Hunter Region Business Hub, is pleased to announce there will be a series of free events designed for small to medium businesses located in the Cessnock Local Government Area (LGA).

The Hunter Business Forum is a series of free events being held across the Hunter, aimed at bringing local business leaders together to learn, share ideas, experiences and create opportunities for growth.

Council successfully received funding for the series of events from the Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Program through the joint Commonwealth and State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

These events are a great way for new and existing businesses to make connections with other local business people. They are also a source of invaluable information and expertise to strengthen businesses and help them grow.

Participating in the Hunter Business Forum helps local businesses share their experience and expertise, network with industry leaders, create new alliances and partnerships, keep up-to-date on trends and make valuable connections.

Commencing in February 2022, the first event will bring local business owners from the Cessnock LGA together for a networking lunch to learn more about digital technologies and look at the latest tools and software to help manage social media, rank higher on Google, protect valuable business information and more.

If you are part of a business in the Cessnock LGA, you are invited to attend the first round of sessions held in a variety of locations including Cessnock, Wollombi, Greta/Branxton and Kurri Kurri.
