Dymaxion Design is bringing award-winning international architectural and interior design expertise to the Hunter Valley.

With more than 50 years’ combined experience, the husband and wife team behind Dymaxion Design, Ian and Margaret Veroni, work together to take their clients’ vision and turn it into reality.

Ian and Margaret honed their cost effective and efficient design capabilities across commercial and residential projects in Canada, the US, and South Africa. 

Ian says they’re excited to embark on a new chapter, bringing their world’s best practice knowhow home to the Hunter Valley with a focus on residential design.

“Much of my career has been in supermarket design working in organisations such as The Overwaitea FG, Safeway Inc. and more recently Woolworths,” says Ian.

“Returning to my roots as a designer of custom homes I wish to use my years of design experience to create dream homes for our clients.

“There’s the added bonus that we get to do it all in a place we love surrounded by a local community of people who are warm, friendly and welcoming.”

Ian incorporates the best in contemporary design practices including state of the art 3D modelling software.  There are also plans to use advances in virtual reality technology by incorporating GearVR or Oculus Rift which would allow clients to be completely immersed in their design before construction commences.

Whilst Ian has the bricks and mortar covered, when it comes to interiors it’s Margaret’s time to shine.

“Our homes are one big canvas for us to paint our individual style upon,” says Margaret.

“As an interior designer it is my job to interpret my clients’ individual style in a way that will ensure they get the most enjoyment out of their home – be it from creating a pleasing colour palette, or knowing how to highlight treasured items of art or furniture.”
