The wow factor is not only delivered by excellent service, Lennert and Rienna expertly craft sculpted 3D cakes as well as cakes with custom drawings – making sure the “cut the cake” moment is memorable.

What sets them apart is the fact they do everything in house from scratch. They pride themselves on not bringing in prepared or manufactured product. Their cakes and specialty items are unique and they are always coming up with new exciting additions. They even prepared a life size Ginger Bread House for the Christmas 2015 holiday season!

Employing a team of nine, Exquisite Cakes by Lennert have been operating in the Cessnock CBD for three years. Exquisite Cakes not only offer a centrally located shop front cafe, they also do wholesale function orders for restaurants, cafes and event centres.

Being local means they can assist wholesale customers very quickly and efficiently, particularly when things go awry with cakes from out of region. Lennert’s has just expanded their production team with the addition of an apprentice to support increased demand from the region’s larger function centres. When you’re good – you’re in high demand!

Exquisite Cakes works closely with other businesses through the Cessnock Chamber of Commerce which they find good for networking, collaboration and achieving results for all businesses in the town.
