Studio owner Katrina Moss says she knew from a very young age that hairdressing was her passion.

“I am fortunate to love all aspects of hairdressing – from cutting and colouring to spending time listening to my clients to figure out exactly what look they are after,” Katrina says.

“I have been hairdressing since I was 13 on a part time basis until I left school to start my apprenticeship.

“I am so blessed to still love my job.”

Part of the reason why Katrina loves her work is the new developments and technology always rolling out in the hairdressing industry.

“Our industry changes a lot, so I get to do a lot of courses to keep my skills and knowledge up to date.”

Katrina says it’s important to reward loyal client who support local businesses.

“At Pure Luxury Hair Studio we offer our clients $10 off every fifth haircut.  We also offer our clients $20 off if they recommend our colouring service to a friend,” Katrina says.

“It’s a two-way street – support your local businesses so we can continue to provide affordable and quality services and keep other local people employed.”

Pure Luxury Hair Studio offers more than men’s and women’s cutting and colouring.  Services include wedding styling and formal styling and makeup.

Katrina also offers a fun way to make little girls feel like a princess for a day.

“We offer children’s parties where kids under 12 can come in with 10 of their friends and be pampered like a princess for two hours and take home a goodie bag.”
